Real Estate in Minnetonka MN

Minnetonka is located eight miles west of Minneapolis with a population of just over 50,000 and is the 14th largest city in Minnesota. Residents have access to 42 parks and over 40 miles of trails. The only part of Lake Minnetonka that belongs to the City of Minnetonka is Gray’s Bay which is the headwaters to Minnehaha Creek which winds through Minneapolis and flows into the Mississippi River Even though the city has such a small part of the shoreline, its denizens are “OK” with that; Gray’s Bay offers some of the best muskie fishing in Lake Minnetonka, if not the entire state. Besides that, there is an excellent public landing facility with a parking lot that holds 112 vehicle with trailer spaces. Three launch lanes and 29 permanent boat slips mean that the locals should have no trouble getting their boats out on the water.
